New Aboriginal Patient Pathways Coordinator role created

Following the recent announcement by the Health Minister, the Hon Daniel Andrews MP, at the Vision 2020 Australia National Member Forum in Melbourne, the Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital has created the role of Aboriginal Patient Pathways Coordinator.

This role will facilitate and support patient pathways for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients of the hospital. In addition, the role will project manage key programs that focus on improved identification and treatment of eye and ear disease within the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
