Learning Seat - online learning for health professionals

In 2009 Learning Seat, an online education developer, partnered with the Australian Practice Nurses Association (APNA) and the Vision Initiative to develop and implement the accredited module for practice nurses titled ‘An Introduction to eyes’. The module was reviewed and updated in late 2010 to incorporate recent information on eye health and vision care in Australia.

Inclusion of eye health and vision care information in the Well for Life program

Well for Life is a package funded by the Victorian Department of Health aimed to improve the health, independence and well being of residents living in aged care facilities. The Vision Initiative has partnered with the Aged Care Branch to review the Well for Life resources and ensure eye health and vision care is included in the appropriate sections.

Neighborhood Renewal – Atherton Gardens

Opening the gates on farmers health
