Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a major cause of severe vision loss in Australian adults aged 50-plus.
It is a progressive disease that causes the loss of central vision, and affects your ability to read, drive, and recognise faces.
Hosted by the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA), the forum will discuss developments in macular degeneration research and potential future treatments.
