Keeping an eye on eye health – Training for GPs – Brimbank

Presented by the Vision Initiative in collaboration with North Western Melbourne PHN.

The session will provide GPs with an understanding of the common eye conditions contributing to avoidable blindness and vision loss in Australia, practical applications to reduce the risk of blindness and vision loss among at-risk populations, a better understanding of triggers and appropriate management of red eye(s) and superficial ocular trauma and referring appropriately to eye health providers including optometry, ophthalmology and low vision and rehabilitation service providers.

Time: 6.30-8.30pm (6.00pm registrations)

Cost: Free.

A light meal will be provided.
