Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is one of the leading causes of blindness and vision loss in Australia. AMD is the name given to a group of eye diseases often associated with ageing that gradually destroys central vision.

Have an eye test…it’s on my ‘to do list’ somewhere.

Courtney, 25, from Western Melbourne, couldn’t remember when she had her last eye test. After spending almost two years struggling when reading or using a computer, it was working for an eye health and vision care organisation that finally motivated her to book an appointment at a local optometrist.
