World Glaucoma Awareness Week
This World Glaucoma Week, Glaucoma Australia are asking Australians to get active about eye health and ‘Treat Their Eyes’ to an eye test.
What can you do to help?
- Encourage people at risk of developing glaucoma to get their eyes checked at least every 2 years
- Remind people with glaucoma to tell their family members to have an eye check. Family members are 10 times more likely to have glaucoma if they have a direct family member with glaucoma
- Share Glaucoma Australia’s campaign materials during Glaucoma Awareness week
- Download or order Vision Initiative’s free information sheets for your patients (available in 11 languages)
