The Australian Vision Convention 2011 (AVC2011) has been launched with the release of a comprehensive program over four days which includes:
- two cardiopulmonary resuscitation sessions with St John Ambulance
- dual stream plenary sessions giving delegates a wider choice of lectures
- a 'rapid fire' session highlighting six groundbreaking research projects
- panel discussions
- Exhibition Hall featuring over 600 optometrist delegates from across Australia and New Zealand.
This event, formerly Queensland Vision, is hosted by the Optometry Association Australia (OAA) Queensland/Northern Territory division and Essilor Australia. It will be held on the Gold Coast from 28 April to 1 May.
