Who’s looking after your eyes? Diabetes and eye health webinar

Diabetes is one of the leading causes of preventable blindness in working age Australians.

All people with diabetes (Type 1, Type 2 or gestational) have an increased risk of developing eye complications such as macula oedema, cataracts, glaucoma or the most common diabetic eye disease, diabetic retinopathy.

The good news is that almost all vision loss from diabetes is preventable, if detected early.

In partnership with Diabetes Victoria and Vision Australia we have developed a diabetes and eye health webinar that will provide people living with with type 1 or type 2 diabetes important information and tips on preventing vision loss from diabetes-related complications.

Join us for the FREE webinar on Wednesday 22 May between 7:30-8:30 and learn how diabetes can affect your vision and what you can do to minimise the risk.
