The next World Diabetes Congress will be held at the Melbourne Congress and Exhibition Centre in Melbourne, Australia.
The congress is organised by the International Diabetes Federation (IDF). Diabetes Australia, the national body for people affected by all types of diabetes and those at risk, is the IDF member organisation for Australia.
As outlined by Diabetes Australia, by attending the IDF Congress you will:
- Hear the latest findings in diabetes research, new technologies and best practice techniques from around the world
- Have access to a wide range of diabetes-related healthcare professionals, associations, policy-makers and other people with diabetes from across the globe
- Learn more about diabetes self-management programs from around the world and meet people and health professionals working for people with type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes
- Be able to meet and share your stories with other people affected by diabetes.
